My Brothers & Sisters  
 
Late Smt Anjali Chatterjee :- My eldest sister Late Smt Anjali Chatterjee was married to Sri Sunil Chatterrjee when I was about six years of age. My sister was gifted with a melodious voice. She also took classical songs training under renowned Ustad Late Sri Viswadev Chattopadhyay. She was a student of Victoria Memorial Institution in Calcutta in B.A degree course and later on in the Calcutta University from where she took her Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. Later on, she was in Government of India Service in Accounts and Audit Department. Her children, Sri Swakshar Chatterjee (son) and Smt Swaswati Mehrotra ( daughter) are both staying in Calcutta. She died in the year 2001
 
 
Smt Pratima Biswas:- My second sister Smt Pratima Biswas was married to Sri Bhujanga Biswas when I was about eight years of age. She was a brilliant athlete and had a taste for Bharat Natyam, Kathkali and other dances. She was also a student of Victoria Memorial Institution in Calcutta. Later on she was in Govt of India Service in Railways Department. Her children, Sri Prateek Kumar Biswas (son), Sri Partho Pratim Biswas (son) and Smt Basabi (daughter) are all well settled in Nagpur. My sister also stays at Nagpur.
 
 
   
Late Sri Ajit Mukherjee :- My eldest brother Sri Ajit Mukherjee did his Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) from Calcutta University and retired from the State Bank of India. He was an eminent Contract Bridge (cards) Player and earned laurels in competitions. He loved to sing Bengali songs. His wife Mrs Anjali Mukherjee also retired from the Post and Telegraph Department of Government of India. His two daughters Smt Sushmita Lahiri and Smt Shamita Bose are both staying in Calcutta. He died at the age of about 71 in Calcutta in the year 1999.

 
       
Mrs Anima Bose:- My third sister, Smt Anima Bose was married to Sri Biswanath Bose and when I was about fourteen years of age. Both my sister and my brother in law were in Government of India Service under Railways. My brother in law, Sri Biswanath was also an expert in arts and many of his drawings on nature, theme of life, etc were highly appreciated. My sister herself is still performing television shows in caricature from Calcutta. Her son, Sri Sambal Basu is also in Railways and her daughter Smt Ruma Maitra runs a play school in Shibpur, Howrah.
       
    I call my third sister as "Sejdi".  She taught me during my childhood days. She is a pet lover. We had Lucy the Cat, and Lucky the Dog, when I was in School and Sejdi used to take great care for them. From Sejdi I learnt to love and take care of the pets.  
       
   

Sri Anata Bijay Mukherjee:- My second brother Sri Ananta Bijay Mukherjee is settled in Kalyani, West Bengal with his wife Smt Kabita Mukherjee. His son Sri Abhijit Mukherjee is an advocate and his daughter Smt Moushumi Roychoudhury and her husband Sri Sachidulal Roychoudhury are both Senior Scientists under ICAR, Government of India.

 
       
Dr. Bimal Kumar Mukherjee:- My third brother Dr. Bimal Kumar Mukherjee did his M.B.B.S from the Calcutta Medical College and specialized in Radiology with D.M.R.D Post Graduation Degree. He retired as Head of the Department of Radiology from Sir Nilratan Sarkar Medical College, Calcutta. He likes to sing Bengali songs and particularly a lover of Rabindrasngeet. Like my second brother, he is also settled in Kalyani with his wife Smt Gouri Mukherjee. He has one child (son) Sri Indrajit Mukherjee who is an Engineer.
       
   
Smt Binita Bhattacharya:- My fourth sister, Smt Binita Bhattacharya was married to Sri Jagannath Bhattacharya when I was about twenty years of age. My brother in law was a teacher in Mathematics. My sidter is fond of singing songs written by Jagannathda. She stays in Garia, Kolkata with her son, Sri Partho Pratim Bhattacharya who is an Engineer.
